Hello Beautiful Goddesses,

Well, I will start off with an update on El Guapo (husband). He still is as dreamy and as fabulous as ever!! He is back home for good and working hard. He absolutely killed it (in a good way) on Valentine’s day and my birthday. I have never felt so romanced, loved, special, and wanted. I got chocolates, a card with a written heartfelt declaration of love, beautiful roses delivered, jewelry, Airpod pros, a surprise romantic dinner, lots of kisses etc.. and a shopping spree!!! Seriously??? It was AMAZING!!! With that said, there is not one day that goes by that I do not thank him for his hard work and sweet loving gestures. This interplay of energy we have is how I know living from your feminine energy will bring you the relationship of your dreams.

“I Have Never Felt So Romanced, Loved, Special, And Wanted.”

As you all know, I am obsessed with relationship dynamics and spiritual growth. When I am not coaching clients, I take it upon myself to continue to learn and to educate myself on all theories and philosophies relating to men, women, and God/Universe. A few weeks ago, I was referred to a book entitled, “The Queen's Code.” It is a fictional novel that reveals the secrets of communicating and relating to men. The author is Alison Armstrong who also has Youtube videos and a website you should check out - www.understandmen.com. I really resonate with her message, which is - “The Soul of a Man is a Hero.” Through her storytelling she says men get to experience themselves as heroes when they get the opportunity to provide for, give to, and help women. So how does this relate to feminine energy? Well heroism must be acknowledged and received and the energy that does this best is that of a feminine woman (aka Queen).

“The Soul Of A Man Is A Hero”

This book does a great job explaining how the balance of masculine and feminine energy works.

  • A Hero/King provides, gives, and protects = masculine energy

  • A Queen receives, appreciates, respects, and surrenders = feminine energy

Another major point made in the book is how the act of emasculating a man is death to the relationship. This doesn’t mean you have to agree with everything a man says and does, but it does mean you have to respect his thoughts/opinions and stop competing with him, demeaning him, and taking his power away.

Lastly the book describes the difference between depending on a man to provide and ALLOWING a man to provide. I think understanding this difference is essential to the modern woman. Many modern women feel like they are giving their power away by allowing a man to provide for them emotionally, physically, and financially. It takes a very secure, strong, and emotionally grounded woman to know she has power and yet still voluntarily hand over her care to a trustworthy masculine man. She does this so she may experience a more relaxed, gentle, present, and loving way of being in the world. “The Queen’s Code” is definitely in line with The Art of Loving a Man, as it shares all the secret ways a Feminine Goddess loves.

Much Love,

Malena xoxo
