He Built Me a Rose Garden!

Hello Beautiful Goddesses,

I wanted to share a beautiful experience I had with my husband, El Guapo. I share my story so women who regularly read my blog can see what a man is capable of when he is inspired by a feminine woman. I also want to share so I can revel in appreciation of this beautiful connection I have created through hard work, discipline, and deep spiritual practice.

So, here is the story. For the last year, I have been horribly upset by the state of our backyard here in sunny California. It was not a great backyard to begin with, but with the new addition to our family, a new boxer puppy, it went to hell and made me want to cry every time I looked at it. Every now and then, I would attempt to have a green thumb and I would pull out weeds, throw down some seeds for grass, and once, I even tried to plant some flowers. All of my efforts were epic failures! There was way too much work that needed to be done to turn this yard around.

El Guapo knew I felt sad and hopeless as he knew I love living in an aesthetically pleasing environment. He always listened as I gently complained and voiced my frustration. I never thought to hire a landscaper because it just was not a priority in our life. Then, one day, El Guapo said he was having someone come cut down some trees. I didn’t think much of it and continued my day. Shortly after, he walked into the living room and presented me with a blueprint of a beautiful landscaped backyard!!!! Yes, he did!! He hired landscapers to completely redo the yard from scratch.

Here is the kicker - he had them build a rose garden for me. He chose my favorite color roses to be placed right in front of my living room windows. It was the sweetest, most romantic gesture ever!!!!!! I felt so cherished and adored.

When it was done, he came up to me and asked me if I loved my garden. I had tears in my eyes and my heart wanted to explode from so much love pouring out of this man toward me. In that moment, it felt unreal. I wondered about all the years I have lived out the “practice” I preach about - sweet love, appreciation, connection, vulnerability, deep emotion, respect and surrender with a man. This was a gift from that work and it felt so good.

Again, I share this beautiful story with my readers because I want to inspire you. I also want you to get excited about the rewards of the feminine and masculine dance.

You see, women no longer inspire men to “do” for them and men no longer meet women’s needs for deep romantic love. So, how do we get out of this awful downward spiral? As women, we do our painful emotional and spiritual work (clear our emotional blocks and meet our own needs). This allows us to sparkle and shine in a relationship.

Remember we do not need a man’s love and affection to complete us or make us feel worthy. Our connection to our self and our spirit gives us all the security and validation we need. In this way, we easily connect with a man’s heart and we enliven his world with our energy. We do not give off the “needy vibe or the “cold hearted” vibe because we are connected to the love inside of us and we flow. We feel bad and we handle it. We feel good and we share it. Life is our clay and we mold it to support us and keep us feeling good. This is the Goddess way.

This is the type of woman a man can’t get enough of. This is a woman that a man keeps coming back for. Some call her “The Cool Girl,” some call her “High Value,” and some call her “The Goddess.” Her secret gift is that she knows how to touch the depths of her own soul, pain, and wounds. This makes her able to love deeply and with ease. Any woman that achieves this will inspire from her man - attention, love, sweet gestures, commitment, great sex and a beautiful rose garden!!!
